Albardia furcata is a reddish-brown insect with a woolly abdomen, short thick-based antennae and long, uncurved wings. It is native to Brazil and occurs in the Cerrado, Caatinga and Atlantic Forest tropical biomes.

How to recognize it

Adults are rusty reddish-brown with a wool-textured abdomen, and their head, thorax and legs are also reddish-brown and covered in long bristles.
