The Grey Swallowtail Moth has a wingspan of about 42 to 50 mm. Its body is white with a dark brown tint and its wings are white with fine dark streaks and faint oblique bands, plus a small black spot near the hindwing tail. It occurs in Myanmar, India, Sri Lanka and extends toward Sulawesi.

How to recognize it

The head, thorax and abdomen are white with a fuscous (dark brown) tinge. The wings are white, closely striated with dark brown, showing ill-defined oblique bands and a fine marginal line, plus a black spot at the base of the hindwing tail.
